Got takeout pork chop rice (豬排飯), stinky tofu (臭豆腐), and braised pork rice (滷肉飯). All 3 were authentic and tasty. There were so much pork chop in it I got two meals out of it. The tofu is stinky (and that's good!). The pork was chopped chunks of pork belly with the right amount of soy sauce and sugar, unlike some other places use ground pork.
Best Taiwanese dishes in Irvine (meaning it's better than our previous favorite Tofu King) to us! -

We got the pork chop rice and popcorn chicken. The pork chop was really good and savory. I'd really recommend the pork chop rice. The popcorn chicken wasn't my favorite, it didn't have enough flavor and not crispy. I've made popcorn chicken at home before, and it tastes exactly like the one I've made at home...not crispy. The place is pretty small but good enough for some seating. The employees were nice and helpful.

I love coming to Han for Taiwanese food. The food is always delicious and tastes authentic. I'll always come back when I have a Taiwanese craving.
However, I had to knock down a star because some dishes aren't as delicious as the majority. I also had one bad experience (one compared to many good ones though) where many dishes weren't available. It might have been bc it was the 4th of July, but it's an asian restaurant... theyre always open! And they were missing their signature oyster omelette and beef rolls. My two favorite dishes!! :(
But my review will be based on the food i've had with the exception of that experience.
I'd definitely order their BEEF ROLLS and OYSTER OMELETTE if you come here. They are delicious and authentic. The LU ROU FAN is also pretty good, but not like anything you'll find in Taiwan haha. But it fulfills the craving for sure. The SZECHUAN FISH is also really good. The fish is soft and falls apart in your mouth, and the soup/sauce was scrumptious. I always order the FRIED RICE as well. They do an excellent fried rice, punched with flavor. It never falls flat like other restaurants often do. I think the POPCORN CHICKEN is a very popular dish to order here, and it's ok. Good but nothing spectacular. The STINKY TOFU was the same - had a decent drink (lol) but it was again, nothing spectacular. I don't recommend the SPICY WONTONS at all. If you're looking for a dish similar to Din Tai Fung's spicy wontons, this isn't it. It's pretty bland in comparison.
Overall, delicious and authentic food with good service as well. -

Bumping my ratings up to four. Tried the 3 cup chicken and the fish in oyster sauce are both delicious. Chicken has that strong basil tAste to it. It's good with white rice.
Fish in oyster sauce flavor is subtle. Garlicky and not as salty as the first time i tried it.. it has some veggies and tofu in it. -

New Taiwanese place that opened up and just had to check it out! I would say overall it's a 3.5. There were some highlight dishes and some not so much. Service was good! I saw some complaints from other yelpers but we didnt have an issue
Spicy pork intestines pot - a sweet and sour soup dish with pickled cabbage, pork blood, and pork intestines. Didnt think I would like it but I was very surprised by this dish! Definitely something I would get again
Oyster omelette - it's a dish with oysters mixed with egg and sauce over a bed of cooked veggies. Classic Taiwanese dish. However, the sauce was a but too thick and corn starchy for me
Spicy pork wonton - great sauce! But the wonton filling was a bit dry. I feel the sauce is hardest to get on point. If they made the meat filling a bit different this would be incredible!
Seafood tofu pot - meh a but tasteless. Nothing impressive
Milk tea - too sweet and too milky. Not very good
